i agree with everybody who thinks this is stupid and forced business on a open source community! FUCK YOU! who thinks that i install that crap! AND: i hate that akismet always appears in changing colors OVER the plug-in-messages, so that i can´t read it (btw: i use tiger-style admin backend). it´s just so stupid. i got the “Angsuman’s Referrer Bouncer” http://angsuman.taragana.net/ which works more than just good… without infecting an open source community with money and buisness. F U C K akismet, it´s s h i t !

Wow. Did a Google to find out how the hell I go about getting an API Key because signing up to Wordpress.com sounded ludicrous. Apparently it *is* ludicrous. I’ve got to sign up for an account with, and therefore give my email address to, a company — just so I can prevent spam? Sod that. I’ll switch to another blogging platform before being so manipulated.
